The main difference between the B4 and B4 MOPA models lies in their laser technology:
- Q-Switch: Features a non-adjustable pulse width, with a frequency range of 20kHz – 100kHz. This is suitable for high-speed engraving on metals without color variations.
- JPT MOPA: Offers a pulse width of 1-500nm and a frequency range of 1kHz – 4000kHz. The MOPA laser is superior for engraving colors on stainless steel, titanium, black on aluminum, and plastic without burnt yellow color, providing greater accuracy.
The B4 MOPA is ideal if you require color marking on metals and high precision, while the standard fiber laser is better suited for straightforward, high-speed metal engraving. Price and work effect vary significantly between the two models.
The laser source in the B4 30W Fiber Laser Engraver Machine has a lifespan of over 100,000 hours, ensuring reliable, long-lasting performance.
The B4 30W Fiber Laser Engraver comes with EZCad software and is compatible with LightBurn software (not included). This provides a comprehensive suite of tools for managing engraving projects efficiently.
The B4 30W provides a 4.3×4.3 inch (110×110 mm) and 7.8×7.8 inch (200×200 mm) field for various project sizes. Additional lenses ranging from 70mm to 200mm are available upon request to accommodate different engraving needs.
