If you want to utilize the full flexibility of B6, additional field lenses are a must. These are good quality. Even though the packaging looks like it was kicked all the way from China. The lens is well padded so it was in good shape.

ComMarker Omni 1 Lasergravør

The B4 50W Q-switched laser strikes an excellent balance between performance and cost.

At first I was concerned that it used a MAX laser source since a lot of people recommend avoiding MAX. Since the price was very good, I looked for the primary reason behind the lower recommendations and found that it was due to the historically low frequency range of the MAX Q-switched lasers compared to other Q-switched lasers. When I looked at the specifications on the ComMarker site they didn’t seem to match the specifications from older reviews I had read. I asked ComMarker for the specific model number and they provided me with a sample copy of a test report that gave me the model number and tested specifications. It turns out they are using a newer model of the laser module and I was able to verify the specifications from the MAX website and another MAX distributor website. It is a better version than their older models and is now more comparable to its competitors. For those curious I’ve attached a picture of my test report.

With that settled, I pulled the trigger and ordered it. Just after I ordered the chaos of the tariff changes began. I contacted ComMarker and they assured me they would be able to fulfill the order at the price I paid and that taxes and duties would be included.

Once it shipped I received it from overseas about three days later. Everything was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. Between the assembly video and manual they provided I was able to get the laser setup quickly and perform some initial tests.

I ended up deciding to build an enclosure so that I could customize it to suit my needs and fit my work space. I look forward to using the B4 more often once I am able finish the enclosure and ventilation system and would definitely purchase from ComMarker again, with the Omni 1 being high on my list.

I am very impressed with the setup and quality of the liquid cooled version of this 10 Watt UV laser. Set up was mostly easy. I had to calibrate the lens, but that was easy using LightBurn. I just wish they had the red laser preview like on the B6 model and maybe the auto-focus too.

Needing a laser to enhance my CNC business, after extensive research, the Commarker range hit the mark from support to range. Ultimately opting for the B4 50w to compliment the metal work I do.
I have not been disappointed and the support from Commarker when approached has been brilliant.

Nice packaging

I use these coin exclusively. They provide consistent results. They have good weight and texture. My customers appreciate them.

Bought the enclosure for my omni1 to protect my very inquisitive little cat. She can’t wear the excellent goggles/ glasses supplied. The enclosure is illuminated by LED surface mounted lamp access through protective door is good. Assembly is easy but loads of screws. Main materials aluminium and acrylic all securely bolted together. It works well.

It’s great, it worked perfectly for the irregular object that I wanted to engrave. If you have any other equipment that you would like me to review, I would be happy to do so!
