This tool makes things so much easier. Precision engraving, set , adjust , engrave. No having to make several jigs or constantly moving and adjusting guides. Highly recommend this product.
I was skeptical of using a fume extractor for my fiber laser since I exhaust my CO2 laser but I was pleasantly surprised that I thus far have detected no odors coming from the laser when it's running while using the fume extractor. Seems to work great!
I have zero previous experience with lasers yet with a bit of online research and the associated notes I had a piece of Aluminium engraved.
Even Better If:
- After Initial build calibration is needed for bulge, ratio and skew. This should be a recommended first step.
- to support your English speaking market I would enlist an English speaker to create you a comprehensive installation and calibration instructions in English.
- I would provide the screen as standard.
- a gauge on the column to indicate lens height position.
When I buy my next machine, I know where to go.
Fast , easy and it just worked
The best laser machine i own.
The B4 30Watt is a fantastic machine. Customer service is incredibly responsive and helpful. I was getting email responses within minutes, and Nancy was very nice. I highly recommend.
ComMarker B4 - 20W/30W/50W/60W/100W fiber laser engraver&laser marking engraver machine
This filter system is heavy duty. Solid construction. I opened it up to take a look at the filters, several stages and thick. They shipped it fast and it was well packed. The package suffered damage in transit, but only caused a minor dent in the base plate that was fixable. I highly recommend this filter system. Cheers.
This is what I was looking for! First, I received my package in France in a few days, it was very well packed.
The quality is awesome and it was very intuitive to assemble it. The machine was bigger than my thoughts.
I needed to make some adjustments on LightBurn for the laser, it is very cool to do it because you understand how your laser works, and you can find a lot of tutorials on YouTube (or even the Light Burn forum).
I chose the 20W because I wanted to engrave metal card (20W is enough because in fact, I just need to remove the paint on the card).
But when you have it, you tend to try on other materials to see what the laser can do. It can engrave different materials like stainless steel, aluminium, gold, silver, plastic, stone and some kind of leather. What can’t it engrave? Paper, wood, bamboo, cork… For this type of work, you will need a diode laser.
Some fiber laser can engrave colors, these machine are MOPA, you can’t with this machine but on stainless steel, you can do white, black and gold colors by playing with parameters (speed, power and frequency).
The accuracy of the machine is very… accurate! It can engrave photos with very good details and it is pretty fast (depending on the type of work you want to do).
Don’t forget that you will need something to filter, either it’s an air filter or it’s simply an aspiration that ejects outside.
I think I said everything… If you’re hesitating, there are a lot of unboxing videos on YouTube.
I hope you will find the laser that suits you, have a good day!
I used the Commarker b4, at my work to engrave and sell tumblers, and the machine saved me a lot of work and time than the co2 laser, It’s like doing a 1-2 minutes to engrave something that the co2 would take 30-60 minutes, I haven’t tested it with other engraving materials, but I’m sure it will get the job done.
It’s also easy to assemble, easy to use especially with Lightburn.
Well made, solid, works well.
My first laser, more detail in the instruction would be great for us rookies. Works very well with the metals Ive tried.
I am very satisfied with my B4 20 w, it fulfills all my expectations.
I can't even imagine what a 100 w mop can do when I have now experienced what a 20 w can do.
A 30/50/60 or 100 w is probably not going to happen for me as they are outside my financial possibilities
Very pleased
Super quick delivery. Everything is in perfect working order. Some learning curve from running CO2 lasers. Altogether, I highly recommend to anyone who is venturing into Fiber lasers.
