Our Story
In 2017, a vision was born. Adam Shang, our founder and CEO, carried a passion for craftworks. He often dreamed of personalizing these crafts, engraving them with unique names or detailed graphics. But, the available options were limited to big industrial laser engraving machines that didn't fit the aesthetics of a home or a chic storefront.
While searching for a solution, Adam realized the potential to shrink the industrial machines into a sleek, compact device. Not just any machine, but one small enough for homes and elegant enough for retail shops, yet without compromising on the speed and precision of its industrial counterparts. From this vision, ComMarker was made, holding the essence of a commercial laser marker in a stylish, user-friendly form.
After two diligent years of development, 2019 saw the launch of ComMarker B1. This first-generation laser engraver, having 20W of power, weighed 21 kg. While it was a groundbreaking achievement, we were just getting started.
Thanks to the immense support we received from the Kickstarter community, our dedication was rewarded in the form of ComMarker B4, a revolutionary product weighing only 10.5kg. This wasn't just another engraver; it was the world's smallest industrial standard laser engraver.
Six years after our inception, the ComMarker team holds a shared mission close to their hearts: Making compact laser engraving accessible and user-friendly for all. With excited hearts and passion, we look forward to launching many more groundbreaking machines in the industry!
