Let customers speak for us
from 537 reviewsThis is my fourth laser. This laser is absolutely amazing. I have tried photo engraving with my other lasers (diode, fiber, and CO2) but none of them gave the results I was looking for. The Omni 1 does. Everyone that sees the results think I have done some kind of photo transfer process. The Omni 1 doesn't take the place of all the other lasers I have, but it does have it's place, and it does it very well. The ComMarker Omni 1 is a well built machine that you can tell is built for industrial use. I was excited to be getting one and more excited in keeping it and figuring out just exactly what it is capable of.
ComMarker has very nice quality laser engraving blanks and at a great price!
It is very robust, a tad on the big side, but it works and will last a long time
I am very happy with my purchase of this laser. Except for some minor details that customer support helped me resolve immediately, the laser works perfectly.
ComMarker B6 JPT MOPA Fiber Laser Engraver
Good machine, great customer service
Great machine. We're just getting to know each other, but I already know it's a great machine. The company has fixed the bugs that were criticized in the past, so I don't have any negatives yet.
I purchased the 20 piece brass coin blanks and I am very pleased with the quality. Each coin comes in a protective case for display or storage. I would definitely recommend them for anyone considering the purchase.
I have only good things to say about the Omni 1 laser I received from ComMarker. The laser worked very well out of the box. Easy setup and operation. Prefer to run it with LightBurn. Excellent quality, definition, setup, speed, and function. I love it all!
If I could only own one laser, the Omni 1 UV would be my choice. I own 4 other lasers from diode, CO2, and Fiber but the Omni 1 is my favorite. I was initially concerned about the lower power output until I used it. The speed at which you can engrave is equal to more powerful lasers as the energy is concentrated in such a small area. Worth a look, worth the money, and I will never be without one of these lasers.
I wasn't sure if this was something I should even buy. I am not in business and do all engraving for family and friends and charity work. The cost is concerning but in just over a week I have brought so many smiles to everyone. I can't put a price on that.
I've engraved everything that isn't nailed or screwed down in my garage. Yes, I engraved leaves and toothpicks. I've had some very good success on glass with the settings that came with machine. Look in the software for them I didn't see that mentioned in the instructions for light burn. Clear acrylic not so much but I need to play around with settings. Colored acrylic is fantastic. I cut and engraved a wooden ornament that turned out amazing. There was no soot to clean. I won't be using my diode unless I have a large quantity to make.
The lack of a red marking line makes lining up a little harder to do. On the up side the outline is actual laser, I was doing glasses and the sides didn't engrave well. I broke the text and selected the letter and centered the glass text, lined it up to re-engrave and it was perfect. I've tried doing that with my fiber and wasn't as successful (probably lack of calibration). I also found a sheet of plastic (think it's stencil plastic) a transparent neon orange color and cut a piece to use instead of the big plastic paddle.
I also purchased the rotary, while it is nice and can be adjusted to level a glass it doesn't stay in that position. There needs to be something between the frame and rotary to keep it from slipping. Grooves maybe the knob screw doesn't hold it. I will try to find something that will hold it up besides my lego pieces. ugh! I wouldn't purchase that until that is addressed. This is the smaller rotary not the big one.
I have a Mac and it states to change the frequency to 1-40 in Lightburn. I saw a video that says it should be 30-100 I would like to see some clarification on the settings PC vs Mac or should there even be a difference. As far as I can tell Q pulse is 1-20. My speed is limited to 7,000 but documents say 10,000. I would like clarification on this as well. These numbers are very important to do test settings. I will contact support and see what they say.
If you decide to purchase you will definitely be upping your game. If you are in business I can't imagine this not bringing additional revenue just from glass alone. When everyone found out about my new laser I got a request for glassware engraving for a wedding and birthday party.
As always another GREAT product from ComMarker
Just purchased a new B6 MOPA for a small business and its perfect for creating a new line of retail products
Ome of the most sturdy built machines I have ever seen.
