Amazing detail and great power

The Omni 1 arrived in UK in about 10 days. My first Galvo Laser, still learning from scratch with the lightburn software but already amazing peoples around me.
I bought the 5W with no regreat but if I have the budget, I will go for the 10W.

The staff was very helpful during the purchase process.
There were no updates about the delivery for 2 weeks. The linked DPD Germany did not know about this package. Then it suddenly arrived with a same day delivery notification.
The package was very nicely organzed and well protected.
The assembly of the device, the enclosure and the fume extractor was easy following the instructions. I am still missing info about the security door assembly of the enclosure. It is neither in the device manual nor in the enclosure manual.
EZCAD gives an error message. But I am used to Lightburn anyhow. It works well with Lightburn after purchasing the galvo extension.
The first engraving attempt failed. I did not realize that calibration of the 150mm lens is needed to get rid of distortion and get correct sizing. The incorrect sizing caused "engraving" on the rim of the device.
Sample projects and some of my old designs are working well. (I have not tried the 3D spider yet)
My target community likes a ot the quality of the results. Especially the colorful stainless steel.
I am considering the Omni purchase. I am looking for a comparison of the 5 and 10W versions.

The ordering process was ok, people were helpful along the way, but communication is key. I'm unsure if several people get back with you on a question or the same person per request per email, but the fume extractor came in before the laser, a few days later the laser, then a week or better the rotary and the safety shield. I had a couple of different explanations as to the shipping of the rotary, and for some reason (not sure if it was UPS communication failure or between Commarker and UPS) but the rotary just showed up with no tracking notification, so it was a shocker when the driver pulled up with the box. So like anything else you spend money on, when things don't show up as soon as planned, you worry a bit with a company you've not worked with before.
I haven't been able to use the rotary yet, I'm still learning the EZCad 2 software (not easy) and difficult to install in my view, but it's new to me.
It takes time to get the pieces of the complete setup all together, so don't get discouraged, be patient.
So far so good, I made my first cut out with it last night, looks great, clean and no burns on MDF. I'll try more materials today.
The focus on the machine is crucial, all of the other settings are to be leaned and recorded by the user. There's that.
I do plan on ordering from Commarker again in the future for a fiber laser, people seem happy with them as well, and so far so good with my purchase of the UV laser. The entire process of shipping everything took about 10 days / two weeks be patient while waiting for your order.

These filters are of high quality. The fume extractor pulls in lots of fine particles and I find these pre-filters to be very effective and saves me from having to replace the more expensive HEPA and charcoal filters as often.

With 200W model, my laser engraving capabilities is CRAZY! the material is somewhat limited, this machine is still unstoppable!
