The product arrived way ahead of shipping window schedule. Took less than 2 weeks. It arrived well packed and fires up but haven't tested yet but so far excellent. Update: The performance is outstanding and quality is high.
They have and excellent support and customer service! The machine is perfect!
Works well and has plenty of power to engrave stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum and more. I have not yet set up the rotary device as I am still learning Lightburn and all it does with this very nice laser. So far I have done stainless steel, mild steel, painted steel and anodized aluminum. Fantastic results with fine details. There's a competitor offering a laser for, on sale, $3400 (Regular price is $4k) and it's 1/30th of the power of the ComMarker B4. This is definitely the way to go. No pecking for me. I don't want to spend all day to do something that the B4 can do in 5 seconds. **I definitely recommend this brand and model.**
I received my laser earlier than anticipated. I was missing the thumb drive with the files on it. I contacted ComMarker. They sent me an email immediately with the files I needed to get up and going. The pictures attached were my first try at doing a photo on a metal business card. (Second day of receiving) A truly superb machine! I can't wait to see how far I can take this!I highly recommend this laser and the company.
I haven’t fully gotten into my fiber laser but I’ve done enough to know it works perfectly. I have been EXTREMELY nervous about spending thousands on a fiber laser from overseas but this was a very easy purchase. What’s even more outstanding was the customer service. Absolutely perfect. Thank you.
Arrived faster than the CO2 laser Im STILL waiting on, every question asked was answered within hours, NOT days. Incredible support honestly. Couldnt ask for more! Maybe just that Lightburn have the same support!
I've been testing this machine for a few weeks and it's great the price. I'll attach some pictures and a video to this review. I don't have a lot of space, so I appreciate the compact size.It works very fast on anodized aluminum and leaves a solid black mark on stainless steel if you use the z-marking method (you can see that on the stainless steel dog tags pictures). The machine is well calibrated by default, but you can always get more detailed results if you calibrate it yourself. I followed the instructions of an awesome YouTube video called "FIX your Galvo Laser F-Theta Lens Distortion with Ezcad Corfile", the channel is called Laser Everything, and if you are a new fiber laser user like me, this is going to save your life.Costumer service response time is very good, and they were willing to answer all my questions, before and after the purchase, and I did ask a lot of questions.I feel good about my purchase, if in the future I find any problem I’ll update my review.

Let's start with the drawback, if you use Linux, this engraver requires a load of the FW over USB before it is recognized. Without doing this, LightBurn couldn't see the device and let you set it up. I found someone on the LightBurn forum that wrote a python script that worked with the windows lmcv2u.sys (32-bit version) that allowed this to load. After that, LightBurn could find the device, and it seems to set it up after that.Once that was sorted, I followed the instructions to get the settings right and have been playing with various things since. I have done stainless steel, copper, brass, anodized business cards, slate, and as the pictures show, rocks from my yard. The initial start-up was frustrating, but the laser itself has been fun.On a side note, the staff at the customer support has been helpful and looking to improve, hopefully they will provide the files needed to get this set up easier in the future. But their communication has been a plus in my eyes, and what brought this from a 4 star to a 5 star review. Now onto my thoughts on the engraver. The details it produces are out of this world. This is does such a good job engraving, the rocks in the picture are sitting on paper towels, you can see they aren't that big, yet the detail is stunning. Adjusting the height is really easy, for a introduction to fiber lasers, this is a great unit.
